About Iantha

Iantha Gantt-Wright currently serves as Founder and President of The Kenian Group, a consulting, training and facilitation group that provides organizations with the skills and tools necessary to diversify their programs, memberships, constituents, workforces, boards and advocates. Boasting an MSA in Organizational Management, Ms. Gantt-Wright has received numerous awards such as the Department of the Interior's Award for "Stellar Deeds in Advancing Diversity" and the Outward Bound Aventures Inc. Award for "Person of the Year".

A practitioner of innovation, Ms. Gantt-Wright has spearheaded and/or founded several programs and initiatives. Serving as the founder and chair of the Environmental Diversity Working Group (EDWG), which consists of a number of representatives from the environmental community, Ms. Gantt-Wright facilitates the EDWG's mission of creating sustained dialogue and actions towards broader divesity and inclusivity within environmental organizations. As a former Director of Diversity for The National Parks Conservation Association, Ms. Gantt-Wright launched the National Parks Community Partners Program in six cities around the country to further diversity efforts for the National Parks Conservation Association. In addition, she is the founder and organizer of the Mosaic in Motion Conference on Breaking Barriers of Race and Diversity in the National Park System. Hailed as a key player and expert in helping environmental and conservation organizations, you can find her commentary and analysis featured in various publications such as : Rising to the Challenge: Strategies for Enhancing Diversity within Environmental Organizations; Cultural Diversity and the National Parks: Working Together for Change.
